BROCK WOMENS HOCKEY - SHOOTING CLINIC - January 2nd, 2026
We are excited to offer a shooting clinic in collaboration with Brock University Women’s Hockey on January 2nd, 2026, at Canada Games Park.
This single-session clinic is $35 per athlete (all applicable taxes included). All revenue generated will be donated directly to Brock University Women’s Hockey to help support team meal costs and travel expenses.

Shooting Clinic Overview
The shooting clinic is a one-hour session featuring 5–6 skill stations, each focused on developing proper shooting mechanics. The instructor-to-athlete ratio is 3:1, ensuring detailed feedback and individualized coaching at every station.
Session Focus Areas

Proper grip mechanics

Understanding and applying weight transfer

Techniques for lifting the puck forehand and backhand

Developing a snap release, whip release, and in-tight finishes

Aiming fundamentals, including how to read, adjust, and control shot placement
Advanced Focus (Older Groups)
For older and more advanced players, the session will also include:

Quick-release shooting with minimal drag

Properly engaging the stick’s kick point

Understanding stick flex and how it impacts shot power

Generating torque through correct top- and bottom-hand mechanics
